Alcohol Pt. 2 (2016)

I drove through the desert on 13 hour haul,
I stared up at the sky and down canon walls,
I thought about my life and where it is I'm going.
I thought about stopping, taking pictures for the folk back home.
Its seven years now, I've been living for the road
And three years now, since I set out on my own,
All the names and place's I have been,
The details they're forgotten but the melodies live on.
I bounced around the cities and I've bounced off the sky,
I stared down the pacific ocean black and wide,
I don't know what I've learned, and I don't know where I've been,
I don't know where I'm headed but I'm driving east again.
I woke up in a parking lot in Denver Colorado,
waiting for my clothes at an all night laundromat,
I was dreaming about Mums in south Baltimore,
I was thinking about my friends wondering what time it is back home.
I bounced around the cities and I've bounced off the sky,
I've driven through the Rockies in the dead of night,
I don't know what I've learned, and I don't know where I am,
I don't know where I'm headed but I'm driving west again.
Now nothing makes me smile on a shitty Monday night,
like staring at the pictures from Ernie's Open Mic.
Said A Tuesday in Manassas, wouldn't be the same
without C-Mo, Ricky, or Matty McGuine, and Drew... Dr. Ewwwww!
I bounced around the cities boys, I've bounced off the sky,
Now I'm parking my car in Chicago for awhile.
I don't know what I've learned, but I know who I am.
You live where you are and my home is with friends.
